I was at The Rock and Roll Farm to see the Stooges shortly before this show. The guy that punched Iggy was wearing a plaid flannel shirt. He was no biker. Iggy jumped from the stage into the "audience" after someone threw an egg that hit the top of the bass drum. Iggy was gesticulating wiggling his fingers around, arms outstretched towards this guy. The guy gave Iggy a right cross to the head. Iggy jumped up to the stage, went to the wall behind the stage, and ran along the wall and eventually out the front door. Show over.
They sound like a young, high-energy punk band but look like a bunch of suburban dads going through simultaneous mid-life crises that decided to start a garage band that plays on weekends. I honestly love it.

This was so watered down for mainstream audiences….if they wanted to convey an idea of the sound of the Stooges, they should have played snippets from the Stooges rather than his more recent solo work.
Would you rather we run through our program set, and look real slick, or would you rather we'd just relaxed and did Louie Louie?

В настоящее время он живет в Мексике со своей девушкой Клэр Акоста в городе Валье-де-Гуадалупе.

@@user-xt6cs2yv4i Они не распались из-за того, что барабанщик на самом деле уже играл с Wavves, когда еще был в The Soft Pack (вы можете увидеть видео 2013 года, где Wavves играет песню Nine is God с Брайаном Хиллом на барабанах). The Soft Pack распались, потому что этого хотел Мэтт. По моему скромному мнению, я думаю, что он боялся успеха, которого он добился с группой.)

i know no one will read this but this is so much better than the gta v radio station version. the tempo is faster here and i think almost played in a different key. ive tried to listen to the studio version but it sounds terrible compared to this. i guess thats just a good live band for you.

The deep baritone voice reminds me the great Peter Steele (RIP), despite this is not gothic metal and also not the usual Iggy Pop singing style, that normally go punkish. This very album was much influenced by Bowie, maybe even more than The Idiot and Lust for Life imo. It's a sort of hard rock tinged pop, something not too different from Let's Dance here and there... Thanks for uploading!
